The University currently has two vacancies for cleaning team leaders. These positions are on a part-time basis, working 35 hrs per week Monday-Friday from 6am (or earlier). Leading a team of between 19 and 26 staff, you will possess good leadership skills and ideally, you will have a background in educational, hospital or public sector cleaning.
You will work with, organise and lead a large team of cleaning operatives to provide an efficient and effective cleaning service across the university campus. You will induct and train cleaning operatives to deliver and maintain a cleaning service to BICSc standards or equivalent. You will also motivate, develop and appraise teams in order to achieve customer satisfaction and university objectives.
These posts include 23 days holiday entitlement with additional 9 statutory holidays and a further 8 additional closure days over the Easter and Christmas period. There is a generous pension package as well as other wellbeing initiatives.
