The School of Medicine, Dentistry & Biomedical Sciences (MDBS) at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the post of Research Assistant in the Wellcome-Wolfson Institute for Experimental Medicine.
The successful candidate will join the B cell biology research team led by Dr Dessi Malinova in the Wellcome-Wolfson Institute for Experimental Medicine. We study cell biology processes leading to antigen presentation and strong antibody responses. This project will investigate a newly-described ubiquitin ligase involved in this process and its role in B cell lymphoma development. The post is funded by Leukaemia and Lymphoma NI and suited to an ambitious, productive and collaborative individual.

This is a fixed term contract post, available for 12 months or until 31 August 2023, whichever is soonest.
Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
