The School of History, Anthropology, Philosophy and Politics at Queen’s University, Belfast, is one of the UK's leaders in internationally recognised research and teaching in Politics and International Relations (IR). The School seeks to appoint a Professor in IR, to support research and teaching at all levels of the field. International Relations has a diverse and vibrant research culture in the School, and we seek a professor to enhance and develop our strengths.
The person appointed will play a central role in all the School’s leadership, research and teaching activities, with a specific focus on (a) high quality research outputs in IR which will significantly contribute to our citations and thus international stature of IR within HAPP; (b) generating substantial research and grant income; and (c) taking on leadership within IR and in particular on our MA in IR which is a centre-piece of our PGT offerings.
