Events and Conferencing Assistant
Job description
We are recruiting for an Events and Conferencing Assistant who will assist the Associate Postgraduate Pharmacy Deans to ensure the successful delivery of a range of events such as training workshops, OSCEs and assessments. The successful candidate will also assist with organisation of the postgraduate pharmacy programme delivered by NICPLD. The Events
and Conferencing Assistant will assist with event setup, organise audiovisual equipment and liaise with course tutors.
The post is based at NICLPD at Beechill House, 42 Beechill Road, Belfast, BT8 7RL. There will be travel to other sites such as QUB Riddell Hall (Stranmillis) and training locations across Northern Ireland.
The successful Events and Conferencing Assistant must have:
* 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above to include English Language and Mathematics or NVQ Level 2 Administration (or equivalent)
* 2 years' relevant experience working directly with clients in an events environment.
* Experience of handling face-to-face, telephone and external enquiries in a confident and professional and friendly manner.
* Willingness to travel to other workshop venues outside the Greater Belfast area, as required
* Access to transport or ability to meet the mobility requirements of the post
This post is available for 12 months with the possibility of extension.
