The purpose of the eFutures Network Manager role is to engage with the vibrant community of university researchers in the area of electronics within the UK and maximise the impact of the technology. We are looking for a motivated individual with good organisational skills who can directly interact with the community and organise a variety of activities and events to encourage better interaction with industry and help publicise the UK's excellent record in electronics research. This a part-time post (0.5 FTE) and is available for a maximum term of 48 months with a funding end date of 30 April 2023.
The School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science performs world class research across within the Queen's Global Research Institute on Electronics, Communications and Information Technology (ECIT), the Pioneer Research Program on Intelligent Advanced Manufacturing Systems (iAMS), and a number of core disciplinary research themes. Our Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) research was ranked 5th in the UK in the 2014 Research Excellence Framework.
