This Research Fellow post is part of a Newton Fund project with an aim to develop an energy-efficient and resilient wireless communications based IoT, which can be applied to agriculture. The goal of this project is to solve the pressing problems in relation to the increasing demand for higher capacity of future-generation wireless networks, and to design an energy-efficient and resilient IoT-based solution in order to establish a sustainable agricultural ecosystem (IoT-RESA). The appointee will be expected to undertake research into the investigation and development of solutions in the area of Communications Signal Processing and to be an active member of the research project/team to ensure the success of the project. This research is supported by a Research Environment Links grant under the Newton Programme Vietnam partnership. The grant is funded by the UK Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and delivered by the British Council. For further information, please visit www.newtonfund.ac.uk
