The School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Queen’s University Belfast, is seeking a Research Fellow/Assistant to join our Sustainable Energy team and be part of our exciting programme - Hydrogen Generation Infrastructure to Support Fuel-Cell Fleet.
The project is supported by the Centre for Advanced Sustainable Energy (CASE), which is funded through Invest NI’s Competence Centre Programme that aims to transform the sustainable energy sector through business research.
This project is being carried out by Queen's University Belfast in partnership with Translink, Firmus energy and B9 Energy, and the successful candidate will be responsible for developing a value-based framework to enable the identification and analysis of infrastructure to support the operation of hydrogen fuel cell buses.
You will also perform cost-benefit analysis, along with resource mapping, carbon foot-printing and optimisation techniques to support the transition to low-carbon transport.
This role offers substantial career development and you will be part of an expert team with excellent technical and leadership experience. You will also have the opportunity to work with academics and industry partners who are leaders in their fields.
