The School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences was awarded the Silver Renewal Athena SWAN award in September 2016, which is valid for 3 years to November 2019.

The School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences has over 560 staff and over 2000 students.
The University has invested more than GBP 100 million in research and teaching infrastructure across the Health Sciences and Royal Victoria Hospital Campuses, and will invest a further GBP 350m in buildings and facilities across the University over the next ten years to support the University's Vision 2020.
As an employee within the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences in Queen's University you are part of a continuum which has survived successfully for more than one hundred and seventy years.
This is a full-time post available for five years.
You will provide comprehensive and professional administrative and financial support within the Northern Ireland Clinical Research Facility (NICRF) and will deputise for the Operations Manager. You will be based in NICRF University Floor, Belfast City Hospital and you will be responsible for supporting the Operations Manager in ensuring the effective governance and financial management of the NICRF.
The successful candidate must have:
Academic and/or vocational qualifications i.e. NVQ Level 3, A levels in relevant subject (or equivalent)
4 years relevant work experience.
Experience supervising, training and mentoring staff.
Experience of servicing meetings, to include taking and drafting minutes, preparing reports.
Experience of dealing with e-mail and internet.
Experience of Financial monitoring.
