The School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to be a highly productive, ambitious, and collaborative member of the Fantasia research project. As Research Fellow, the successful candidate will contribute to the planning and delivery of the research activity and assist in the development of future research proposals, with the research activity focusing on the development of automated approaches for the finite element analysis of aviation power plants.
This is a great opportunity and the successful candidate will work in close collaboration with both industrial partners (Rolls Royce) and academic partners (Cranfield University).

This is a fixed term post for 25 months or available until November 2024, whichever is the soonest. Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
