Job description
The principal aim of this post is to develop, manage and deliver an innovative research programme in one of the disciplines in the Institute for Global Food Security. The post-holder will bring substantial food sector expertise and will act as a recognised figurehead for the Institute in forging new alliances with industry, community partners and funders.
They will shape and lead communications with these stakeholders, acting as a key ambassador and championing the strategic ambitions of the Institute to support high value research funding bids and building the global esteem of the Institute. The postholder will also teach at undergraduate and postgraduate level, to contribute to Institute/Faculty's administration/outreach activity.
