The Centre for Cancer Research and Cell Biology (CCRCB) sits within the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences. CCRCB works with partners around the
world in developing cancer treatments and pioneering advances in patient care.
The Laboratory Research Technician will manage the research work area so that an effective and efficient technical service is provided to the Principle Investigator. The successful candidate will ensure high standards are maintained in the quality of work produced and in the efficient operation of molecular and cell biology equipment such as cell culture, centrifuges, electrophoresis. The Laboratory Research Technician will provide specialist technical advice and training to staff and research students in the relevant techniques, drawing upon considerable depth of knowledge, skills, experience and expertise in the area of molecular and cellular biology.
