Job description
The work encompasses developing and applying computational chemistry/biology approaches to engineer enzymes to achieve desirable functions, in support of multiple enzyme evolution projects with close collaboration with biologists and chemists. Additionally, the successful applicant will be expected to contribute to the day to day running of the
computer laboratory. The successful applicant will be expected to work at Almac Sciences Ltd. in Craigavon, as required by the project. This post is available until 30 March 2019.
The position has specifications on the following topics:
Protein structure prediction and refinement;
Molecular dynamics simulations of biomolecules;
Free energy calculation in MD simulation;
Calculation of enzymatic reactions.
