Job Description
The principal aim of the post is to undertake a 16-month programmeof work using linked administrative datasets to understand the relationshipbetween poor mental health and suicide risk. This research is part of the workof the UKCRC funded Centre of Excellence for Public Health (CoE), which is oneof five UK centres.
Thesuccessful candidate will have a PhD in a relevant subject such as socialsciences, applied statistics, epidemiology, public health, pharmacy, economicsor psychology and preferably demonstrable knowledge and experience of workingwith large administrative datasets. Competence in appropriate methodological approaches and statisticalanalysis is expected.
