Job description
The Institute for Global Food Security at Queen's is leading the world in addressing one of the greatest global challenges - how to ensure the safety of our food.
Our researchers track and prevent contamination of crops, animal feeds and foods. They help detect fraud along the supply chain and develop advanced food provenance systems, help to improve the quality
of crops and the health of farm animals and their resistance to disease.
Please note on this occasion the University is unable to provide sponsorship for visa applicants for this particular post, as such applicants must hold the right to work in the UK to be eligible.
The Research Fellow will be an active member of the research project team assisting in the development of research proposals and the planning and delivery of the research activity so that the overall research objectives are met. This is an 18 week fixed term contract with possibility of extension.
