The School of Medicine, Dentistry & Biomedical Sciences (MDBS) at Queen’s University, Belfast is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the post of Public Engagement Co-ordinator in Wellcome-Wolfson Inst for Experimental Medicine on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will provide clerical, research and organisational support within the Faculty Engagement Hub and support the delivery of the Faculty’s ISSF Public Engagement remit. They will also contribute to the overall work programme of Faculty Public Engagement, taking a lead role in developing engagement opportunities for Opthalmology and Respiratory research. The post entails forming relationships with community and third sector organisations as well as facilitating meetings and events with researchers, patients and members of the public.
This is a fixed term, part-time (18.5hpw) post.

Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
