Job description
The School of Law benefits from excellent relationships with the legal professions in Northern Ireland, including through its Judge in Residence programme, and regular teaching and research collaborations between staff, students, members of the judiciary and practicing lawyers. These new posts seek to build on and strengthen these relationships. The
post holders will contribute to Foundations of Legal Knowledge teaching on the LLB, and produce scholarship of interest and relevance to the practice and understanding of the law in Northern Ireland. They will hold a professional legal qualification, and will use their practice-based expertise to augment and enhance current and future provision in the School.
There are up to three positions available on a 0.2 FTE basis for a three year period.
