The School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science (EEECS) at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking a Research Fellow to work for the highly prestigious European Research Council (ERC) Consolidator Grant BEATRICE: “Beyond Massive MIMO: Living at the Interface of Electromagnetics and Information Theory” - led by Professor Michalis Matthaiou.
The successful candidate will be based at The Centre for Wireless Innovation and will develop new solutions for achieving wireless power transfer through a Reflective Intelligent Metasurface (RIS).
We are seeking applicants with experience in communication and fundamental electromagnetic theory, with demonstrable background in RIS and/or wireless power transfer evidenced by journal publications in top-tier IEEE Transactions.
You will join a vibrant research group of 50 people, including 13 academics and will have the opportunity to contribute to the research activities of the new Queen’s Global Research Institute on Electronics, Communications and Information Technology (ECIT-2).
