The School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science (EEECS) at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the post of Research Fellow to join the QUB RIED Programme team on our exciting programme to Re-Imagine Engineering Design.
Our vision is to create a smart integrated design methodology that generates product and manufacturing systems simultaneously. Working in partnership with other UK universities and industry leaders, you will be responsible for providing distributed software to support the integration of design and manufacturing systems. This will involve development of agent-based software models to support autonomous interaction among design components; and development of scalable software to support management of large populations of design solutions. You will work in partnership with other Researchers in QUB, York and Loughborough delivering a team solution for the whole programme.

This is a fixed term contact for 40 months, or until 30 April 2026, whichever is soonest. Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
