This is an exciting time to join Queen’s as we embark on the next phase of our development as a university. Our Strategy 2030, Delivering for the Future, sets out our ambition for the next 10 years to shape a better world through our life changing education and research and our role as a key partner in the Belfast Region City Deal (BRCD), an exciting, once in a generation opportunity to accelerate economic growth for the region.
To realise our ambitions within Strategy 2030 and support delivery of BRCD, we are seeking to expand our Finance Team by recruiting a number of key roles including a Data Analyst.
About the Role: You will work as part of a small team to assist in the analysis, development and submission of information required for the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA). You will undertake business analysis work in planning for the new style return, as well as data analysis work in preparing and submitting data to HESA. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to corporate reporting and planning office roles more generally including the presentation of management information and engaging with performance analysis.
About You: You will have strong data management skills alongside experience of business analysis, data analysis, quality assurance and strong communication skills. You must be a clear thinker with a good eye for detail, and have the ability to assimilate, manipulate, and interpret complex data from different sources.
At Queen’s our people are at the heart of everything we do. As a staff member you will become part of a vibrant organisational culture, which will enable you to thrive, with a continued focus on high performance, your wellbeing, development, engagement and greater opportunities for flexible working. In return we will provide a great Total Reward Package which includes a competitive salary, a generous Pension Scheme and annual leave entitlement, as well as access to a range of learning and development courses to support your personal and professional development.
