This is a great opportunity to join Professor Cherie Armour as a Research Fellow on a Part-Time Fixed Term Contract for 24months. It is expected you will work 24.5 hours. The post holder will assist in conducting a pilot randomised controlled trial to evaluate the performance of a research protocol to compare the Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories (RTM) intervention with Trauma-Focussed CBT. The interventions will be delivered by charities focusing on the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in military veterans. The post holder will be have opportunities to build their own research capacity through training and collaborations with senior academic colleagues regionally, nationally and internationally through the research networks of colleagues at Queen's University Belfast.The School of Psychology holds a Gold Athena SWAN award that recognises the work that it has done in supporting gender equality.
The successful candidate must have:

Honours Degree in Psychology
*
A PhD in Psychology, Epidemiology or Statistics
*
At least 3 years relevant research experience.
*
Experience of having worked with multidisciplinary teams involved in research.
*
Understanding of issues with data confidentiality/security/data sharing
*
Experience of designing and collecting quantitative survey data, including using online survey software such as Qualtrics
*
Experience of using the statistical packages of SPSS & MPlus
