Reporting to the Director of Academic and Student Affairs, you will work with academic staff and support managers as well as information services technical support at the highest levels in the University. The Head of Student Services and Systems (SS&S) provides high-level leadership and strategic direction for the delivery of the University's student services and systems functions and takes the key leadership role in the implementation, and ongoing delivery, of the integrated Student Information System and Virtual Learning Environment Support and Development model.
You will be responsible for leading and managing a large team across three sections- Major Administrative functions, Student Registry Services and the Qsis development team. You will be a resilient, adaptable and a proven leader with the ability to manage conflicting priorities. You will form part of the Senior Management Team within the Academic and Student Affairs Directorate, deputising for the Director in her absence. You will be able to develop strong relationships at a senior level, negotiating and influencing on complex and potentially controversial matters.
