The School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science (EEECS) at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the post of Research Fellow in the field of Orchestration of different 6G-enabling radio access technologies.
The post holder will be a highly productive, ambitious and collaborative member of a major EPSRC project involving 17 UK universities and 4 industrial partners. They will be expected to conduct research to optimise radio access from a user-centric perspective considering diverse service requirements and taking into account network resilience, and will become an active member of the Centre for Wireless Innovation and the School of EEECS at QUB, assisting in the production of world leading research output.

This post is fixed term for 21 months or until 30 April 2026, whichever is sooner. Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
