We are recruiting for a Research Assistant in 3D Printing for Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Manufacturing who will be part of Dr Dimitrios Lamprou’s research group. The successful candidate will be involved in the planning and delivery of a research programme to manufacture drug delivery systems and medical devices using innovative 3D printing technologies within the Nano/Microfabrication research group in the School of Pharmacy. This position is suited to a highly ambitious, productive, and collaborative individual.
This group recently supported NHS efforts by designing and producing protective shield masks using a 3D printer in order to help meet the demands of the healthcare staff across the Belfast Trust in supporting patients with Covid-19.
