Job description
The Institute for Global Food Security sits within the School of Biological Sciences at Queen's. The Institute is leading the world in addressing one of the greatest global challenges - how to ensure the safety of our food.
Our researchers track and prevent contamination of crops, animal feeds and foods. They help detect fraud along the supply chain and develop
advanced food provenance systems, help to improve the quality of crops and the health of farm animals and their resistance to disease.
The Research Assistant will be an active member of the research team assisting in the planning and delivery of research led by Dr Katrina Campbell at the Institute of Global Food Security within the framework of an EITFOOD project. This research project is to develop and validate analytical procedures to ensure trust in the seafood supply chain.
