This Research Fellow will initiate, develop and manage their own high level research projects in line with the University, PGJCCR and blood cancer research strategy. This personal fellowship will include teaching and administrative activities to support professional development towards an academic career.
This Fellowship is funded by Leukaemia Lymphoma NI in partnership with Queens Foundation. The Fellowship package (£500k) includes funding for the Fellow, a technician and consumables. The successful candidate will have an independent programme within the Blood Cancer research group and would be expected to work towards quality publications and further funding.

The PGJCCR mission in cancer research is to improve patient outcomes, train the next generation of scientists and clinicians and enhance the competitiveness of the UK life sciences sector. PGJCCR is committed to excellence in experimental cancer medicine with a programme focusing on translating scientific discovery into the development of biomarker-guided, biologically-informed clinical trials in our areas of disease strength: Gastrointestinal (including hepatobiliary), head and neck, urological, breast and ovarian cancers. This has resulted in the development and delivery of a number of investigator-led trials investigating novel agents and systemic therapy and radiotherapy combination studies.
