You will join us as Assistant Director of IT Systems and Services at Queen’s University Belfast. You will be managing a team of circa 50 colleagues and an overall budget in excess of £4m.

Within this role, You will have the opportunity to lead out on major projects within the University from establishing a new SOC to our ambitious programme to digitally transform the University. You will be instrumental in our drive to improve student and staff experiences, enhance the effectiveness of our research and help us reach our sustainability goals. We have exciting plans for further investment in these areas as part of our Strategy 2030 priorities.
The University’s digital requirements are very diverse (including Tier 2 high performance computing) and the breadth of technical experience you will gain here will be difficult to find elsewhere in Northern Ireland.
Whilst leading on the above you will ensure the consistent delivery of services to over 24,000 students and some 4,500 staff maintaining our hardwired network and Wi-Fi, VOIP, Cyber security, SOC, remote access, over 600 VMs and service desk support.
