Research Fellow
Job description
The School of Natural and Built Environment are seeking to appoint a Research Fellow to assist the Head of School, Professor Greg Keeffe on a range of projects in relation to climate proofing cities. This post is available on a 24 month fixed term basis. These projects range from the adaptation of green infrastructure in cities to create pathways for biotic migration,
to the development of smaller scale resilient infrastructure designs. A working knowledge of research by design and keen eye for visual representation of complex urban information are essential. You will join a small team of designers and researchers working on a range of productive and resilient urbanism projects.
In addition to the core design and analytical tasks, you will also be required to support work on other aspects of the project, as directed by the investigators, and undertake a series of impact related activities, which may require periodic travel outside the UK. We are therefore looking for a passionate and committed individuals with strong people skills to work in a multi-disciplinary design team .
