The Information Services Strategy aims to provide focus and direction forthe work of the Directorate by guiding the development of both a range of integratedinformation services in support of the University's mission and the technological andphysical infrastructure that delivers many of those services.
Information services strives to provide a positive experience for alltheir users ensuring all information systems are fit for purpose.
As the system analyst you will help the team to identify, develop andimplement computer systems and solutions to support the University's businessfunctions, including education, research and administration while ensuringcontinuity of service via implementing appropriate security protocols.
You will work in cross-functional teams driving delivery of integrated services/projectswith opportunities to lead these teams.
Day-to-day you will effectively manage and maintain systemspecifications, disaster recovery plans, user documentation, maintenanceschedules and niche programs across the site.
You will be joining a large multi-disciplinary team and it is envisagedyou will have a minimum of three years' experience in a similar role withdetailed knowledge of various operating systems, applications and specificprogramming languages.
It would be highly advantageous to have a relevant professionalqualification such as MCSA, MCSE or Linux Certification.
