Bryden Centre Operations Manager
Job description
Queen's University Belfast co-ordinate and host the Bryden Centre for Advanced Marine and Bio-energy research. We are currently seeking an operations manager to work with the Bryden Centre Academic Director, and relevant staff within partner Universities and institutes (Ulster University, University of Highlands and Islands, AFBI, Letterkenny Institute
of Technology), as well as external industry and other enterprises, including Donegal County Council and Dumfries and Galloway Country Council, to facilitate the centre's aim to enhance cross-border applied research into biomass and marine-based renewable energy sources. The successful candidate will be the primary administration and managerial support to the Centre Academic Director for the operational delivery, encompassing governance and accountability to funders, student experience, and operational effectiveness.
This project has been supported by the EU's INTERREG VA Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB), bringing partners from Western Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland together.
