For over 50 years, Queens University Belfast, through the Northern Ireland Technology Centre, has been supporting innovation with local industry. We have recently invested GBP 7.5M in a new advanced manufacturing technologies aimed at supporting collaborative innovation activity with Industry, with further plans to invest in a new Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre in 2021 through the Belfast City Deal. We are currently recruiting engineers to deliver our current project portfolio with an aim to establishing capability for our future growth plans. This is an exciting opportunity for all engineers with an interest in innovation to become part of an exciting project to deliver advance manufacturing knowledge and capability within Northern Ireland industry and beyond.
To support Automation and Robotics activities within NITC including the development of new methods and processes, process validation and generation of research outputs which have a direct economic and technical benefit. Working collaboratively with technology providers, national technology centres, academia and industry to deliver key projects focused on Automation and Robotics activities.
