The School of Arts, English and Languages seeks to appoint a temporary Lecturer in the Modernist Literatures in English. The successful applicant will have a strong track record of publication in modernist literatures and undertake research in line with the School’s research strategy. You will teach two stage-two and stage-three modules in Anglo-American modernism, contribute to the teaching in English at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and contribute to School administration and outreach activities. The appointment will be for a period of 12-months and the successful applicant will take up the role on 1 January 2025.

Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
