As part of an EPSRC-funded research programme, we are seeking for a postdoctoral researcher to carry out computational simulations of laser-driven ion acceleration processes. The post is available for one year, for candidates able to demonstrate significant expertise in the use of Particle in Cell Simulations, and in their application to modelling of advanced acceleration mechanisms. The candidate will be an active member of the Centre for Plasma Physics, and will interact closely with experimentalists within the Centre.
Our five core values (Integrity, Connected, Ambition, Respect, Excellence) have been developed by staff and students. They express our shared understanding of what we believe, how we aim to behave and what we aspire to be as an international organisation.
