School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the post of Research Fellow for the Centre for Public Health. The successful candidate will work on a maternal health project funded as part of the Cross-border Healthcare Intervention Trials in Ireland Network (CHITIN), managed by the Public Health Agency R&D office. The aim of the project is to support the development and delivery of a new habit-based diet and lifestyle intervention to overweight or obese pregnant women on the Island of Ireland, and to explore options for integration of this lifestyle intervention into existing antenatal care pathways.
The successful candidate must have:
Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
