Job description
You will develop and deliver excellence in clinical skills education within the Centre for Medical Education (CME), School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences (SMDBS) at Queen's University Belfast (QUB). There are no clinical service duties included in this role however; the essential criteria include the requirement for a medical qualification
and to have a current licence to practise.
The successful candidate must have:
*
Primary Medical Degree.
*
Full Registration with the General Medical Council and with a current license to practise.
*
Post registration qualification (Membership of relevant Royal College or equivalent by examination).
*
Evidence of integrating contemporaneous evidence into pedagogical practice
*
Recent evidence of teaching and assessment of medical students.
*
Evidence of experience in contributing to the design and development of educational activities pertaining to medical education.
*
Evidence of seeking feedback and implementing development in educational related activities.
The School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences has over 560 staff and over 2000 students.
The University has invested more than GBP 100 million in research and teaching infrastructure across the Health Sciences and Royal Victoria Hospital Campuses, and will invest a further GBP 350m in buildings and facilities across the University over the next ten years to support the University's Vision 2020.
