Philosophy at Queen’s University Belfast is a small but dynamic and pluralist unit located within the School of History, Anthropology, Philosophy, and Politics, with research strengths in ethics, history of philosophy, and epistemology. It is seeking to appoint a fixed-term lecturer (0.75FTE, 12 months) for the 2022-23 academic year, to provide teaching cover for a leave of absence. The person appointed will be expected to play an active role in the School’s research and teaching activities, including convening and teaching undergraduate level modules in both metaphysics and philosophy of religion / philosophical theology.

This is a part-time (0.75FTE), fixed term post for 12 months, or until 31 August 2023, whichever is sooner.
Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
