To realise our ambitions within Strategy 2030 and support delivery of BRCD, we are seeking to expand our Finance Team by recruiting a number of key roles including a Management/Commercial Accountants.
About the Role: You will join a team who is responsible for providing a comprehensive, professional financial management service to Directors in Professional Services, Pro-Vice Chancellors and Directors of Operations within Faculties, and Project Leads for the BRCD projects. Your role will be to produce timely business critical information and analysis, including developing Financial Operating Plans, assist accurate decision making, risk assessment, planning and to provide rapid response trouble shooting when necessary.
About You: As a qualified, experienced accountant you should enjoy working within a team with the opportunity to contribute to the development of its delivery of proactive business partnering with key stakeholders internal and external to the University. You will have technical accounting knowledge including knowledge of relevant accounting standards and sector best practice, a familiarity with complex finance systems, strong commercial awareness and data analytical/digital skills.
