The post holder will provide professional procurement and supply advice, supporting University project teams and senior staff. You will be responsible for the management and planning of procurement services to designated areas of the organisation and resolving procurement and/ or contractual issues. This includes taking the lead on complex/high value procurement projects and designing procurement solutions.
Queen's procurement team are a friendly and supportive team who would welcome someone that is resourceful in their approach. The procurement team are agile business partners and are progressive in their approach to ways of working, with each having their own laptop and actively using collaborative software products. The Procurement Office has core working hours, which can accommodate early and later start and finish times. This team was recognised at Higher Education Procurement Awards UK and Ireland when the team won the prestigious Award of Outstanding University Procurement Team 2019.
