The School of Medicine, Dentistry & Biomedical Sciences (MDBS) at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the post of Research Fellow within the Centre for Public Health.
The postholder will manage a collaborative research project. The project involves a pilot randomised controlled trial (RCT) to determine the likely effect of an App version of a rehabilitation programme following a TIA (transient ischaemic attack) and/or ‘minor’ stroke. The project will involve close collaboration with stakeholders, preparation of study materials, monitoring of recruitment, qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, and dissemination of project findings. The study is funded by NI Chest Heart and Stroke.

This is a fixed term contract available until 31 August 2023. Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
