To realise our ambitions within Strategy 2030 and support delivery of BRCD, we are seeking to expand our Finance Team by recruiting a number of key roles including a Senior Procurement Manager as a sustainability lead.
About the Role: This procurement role directly contributes to progressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals with a focus on carbon reduction, it is a key enabler on the journey towards net-zero carbon emissions, with direct and impactful action through procurement. The role links into the Sustainability Team to implement plans and projects across the University to meet institutional objectives and targets. The role ensures delivery of professional procurement services which places contracts with value for money and sustainability at the core.
About You: As an experienced procurement professional you will have a passion for sustainable procurement. You will have core values of integrity and ambition. You will be positive about change projects which improve the world in which we and future generations will live. You will be resourceful and flexible, able to collaborate to find solutions to challenges in new and innovative ways that may not have been used before.
