Faculty Research Communications Officer
Job description
The post holder will make a significant contribution to developing and enhancing the profile and impact of academic research undertaken within the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, at local, national and international levels. The post-holder will work with colleagues in the Faculty, and with colleagues in the University's key relevant
support teams (Communications, Research Impact, Business Alliance and Public Engagement), to support the development and implementation of effective media and communications strategies for research projects identified for prioritisation and support. The postholder will assist, in particular, with the development of broadcast programme ideas, the placement of features and opinion pieces, and the generation of critical reviews relating to books, performances etc. as appropriate.
