Job description
The Professor of Computer Science will be appointed as the inaugural Director of the Software Academy and will be responsible for developing its vision and to lead its strategic development. The Director will be responsible for advancing the quality and impact of our computing programmes, developing innovative methods of teaching and learning and to help
establish Queen's as a global leader in employability and skills development in software engineering and computing education. The post holder is also expected to undertake high quality personal research or scholarship and, as a member of the School's Senior Leadership Team, work with other senior staff to further grow and develop the School.
