The Centre for Cancer Research and Cell Biology(CCRCB) sits within the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences and the Precision Medicine Centre (PMC) is a new clinical laboratory bringing together high-throughput genomics, digital pathology and big data analytics in a fully integrated fashion. The PMC aims to accelerate the translation of potentially relevant diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic findings into clinically actionable information by applying state-of-the-art technology in a clinical laboratory environment. Our partnerships and collaborations with industry, academia and healthcare organisations maximises the potential to capitalise on the value of integrated clinical and biomarker information to improve patient's outcome.
The Project Officer will lead the successful planning and coordination of the creation and subsequent operations of the Innovate UKPathLAKE programme. This programme is led by the University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust and has a number of academic and industrial partners. The successful candidate will develop and maintain a detailed project plan, assess and manage risks, monitor progress and manage the project budget.
