The Accounting Group in Queen's Management School currently comprises 12 full time academic staff, with the new Lecturer in Accounting post presenting the chance to contribute to the continued development of the Group. From a teaching perspective, the position offers an opportunity to gain experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. While, given the support available within the School and collegial atmosphere within the Group, the successful candidate will be working in an environment conducive to developing a track record of published research.
Queen's Management School is one of the top business schools in the UK and Ireland and prides itself on offering a world class range of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes. It is a globally renowned centre of education and research and enjoys close links to the business community, a dedicated placement office and a financial trading room.
The successful candidate must have:
PhD in Accounting or related discipline (or within 6 months of completion)
Ability to publish research publications of international standard in Accounting.
Potential to earn external research income
Ability to teach and assess courses in the area of Accounting and related fields at University level
