The School of Psychology at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint exceptional candidates to the posts of Research Assistant.
The purpose of these roles is to assist in research activities related to the ongoing NIHR CHOICE trial and HEE Dental RECUR Brief Negotiated Interview (DR-BNI) work. The aim of the CHOICE trial is to evaluate the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness in NHS primary care of a novel intervention (Dental RECUR – Brief Negotiated Interview) and usual care versus usual care alone, to prevent dental caries in children.
The HEE work involves scaling up the DR-BNI for improving oral health in children nationally. The successful candidate will work alongside Professor Pauline Adair and Dr Marc Edwards, as well as the wider research team.

These posts are available on fixed term contracts for 12 months on a part time basis (0.6fte). Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
