The Faculty Office for Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the post of Visiting Students Coordinator.
The post holder will support the Dean of Internationalisation, Dean of Education, and Global Support Officer in taking responsibility for providing a first-class service in all aspects of the experience of visiting students, specifically in the areas of Global Mobility and Short-Term Study. The postholder will be responsible for the delivery of programmes of study and related events to meet the needs of international partner institutions in this space, including Summer Schools and Winter Schools, as well as supporting programmes of outbound mobility for AHSS students to undertake short-term study at a partner institution.
The primary objectives of the post-holder between May to October 2023 will include coordinating the final planning, implementation and evaluation of the 3-week international summer school between 19th June to 7th July and coordinating the bespoke pre-departure, welcome and orientation for a cohort of over 20 students from George Washington University studying at Queen's on the Global Bachelors Study Abroad Programme during Semester 1.

This is a fixed term post available until 30 November 2023. Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
