The School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science (EEECS) at Queen’s University Belfast, is seeking a Research Fellow to investigate, develop and implement autonomous collision avoidance strategies for maritime vehicles.
You will be based at our multidisciplinary centre for Intelligent Autonomous Manufacturing Systems (i-AMS). You will be an active member of a wider community, contributing to world-leading research outputs and new research initiatives in the broader area of autonomous planning, decision theory, maritime navigation, and cyber-physical systems.
This role also offers substantial career opportunities, including training in innovation, commercialization and soft skills, travelling to research conferences and visits within the group’s research network.
This is an excellent time to join us as we continue to develop innovative technologies and solutions in partnership with the Northern Ireland Technology Centre.
This post is available on a fixed term contract for 24 months or until 31/01/2024 (whichever is soonest).
