The International Student Adviser UG is a key position within the International Team at Queen’s Business School. The postholder, who reports to the International Partnership Manager, will work closely with the School’s Director of Undergraduate Studies to enhance the learning experience of international students in Queen’s Business School. With a core remit of working closely with international undergraduate students to ensure they have the support, guidance, and high-quality information they need to succeed, the postholder will help to design and deliver academic skills programmes that serve to improve student experience and performance and deliver essential information in engaging ways.
About the person:
The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can work effectively with academic colleagues to identify academic skills gaps and develop engaging activities and workshops to help improve performance and provide pastoral support. An outgoing personality with clear communication skills and the ability to manage difficult situations in a diplomatic manner is key.
