In collaboration with Rolls-Royce, the School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Research Fellow with experience in aerospace structural analysis.
The successful applicant will investigate and use Finite Element, buckling analysis and optimisation methods to support structural design of next generation engine and aircraft, collaborating with the university and the RollsRoyce teams. Direct collaboration with Rolls-Royce will be a key aspect of the role, including regular visits to the company’s state of the art facilities in the UK.

This post is available for 16 months. Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
