We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer with proven technical knowledge and experience who is excited to work in a centre that is a global destination for technology and innovation. We are recruiting to build our engineering teams in Digital Factory to support the development of innovative and emerging industryfocused solutions. As Senior Engineer you will apply your specialist knowledge and experience of methods and processes, to generate innovative research outputs. You will work collaboratively with your team, industry, technology providers, national technology centres and academia to deliver key projects focused on advanced manufacturing. This role is aimed at candidates with relevant experience in an industrial or academic research and innovation environment.

This is a three year fixed term contract. Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
