About the job:
Join our team at the School of Nursing & Midwifery, Queen’s University Belfast, as a Research Fellow. We're seeking a dedicated individual, ideally with or soon to obtain a PhD in health, ageing, or social care, to collaborate with Dr Gary Mitchell's team. Together, we aim to optimise diabetes care in nursing homes through the co-development and testing of a new digital intervention.
As a key member of our research team, you'll play a vital role in co-designing and field-testing the intervention. Your responsibilities will span various research activities, including conducting systematic reviews, semi-structured interviews, Delphi surveys, and co-design workshops. Additionally, you'll contribute to project planning and delivery, interacting closely with our multidisciplinary team.
About the person:
The ideal candidate will bring research expertise in health and social care for older adults, along with experience in developing and evaluating digital interventions for educational purposes. Clinical experience in care home settings and working with individuals with type 2 diabetes is essential. If you're passionate about making an impact on diabetes care in care home settings, we invite you to apply.
